About
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, I was shaped by different ways of understanding space that still inform how I approach design today. That background led me into architecture, where I've spent over fifteen years working across a range of projects in education, housing, and cultural sectors. The work involves patience, collaboration, and a balance between vision and constraint.
My illustration practice exists alongside that world but moves differently. It's looser and more personal, a space where I can slow down, experiment, and respond to ideas without a fixed outcome. Drawing gives me room to be more instinctive, to explore memory, atmosphere, and storytelling in a more open way.
A growing part of my work is rooted in culture and connection. My partner is from Ireland, and over time that relationship has opened up new ways of thinking about place, heritage, and belonging. I'm increasingly interested in the space between our backgrounds and how different landscapes, histories, and everyday details shape identity.
